Empowering Children with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) through diagnosis and ongoing support

Services

I provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments, primarily for children from the age of 8 in Berkshire and Oxfordshire (UK).

Diagnostic Assessments

I conduct thorough assessments to identify specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, and make onward referrals. These assessments involve a range of activities, including cognitive tests, educational assessments, and observations.

Educational Support

I make personal recommendations providing strategies for overcoming challenges, and recommending the use of assistive technology. Appropriate for classroom implementation, 1:1 specialist teaching. The learner is also provided with an individual summary highlighting their strengths.

Support for Parents

I work closely with parents to ensure a consistent approach to supporting their child, and can signpost to additional support and other professionals, where required.

About Anna

Hello, my name is Anna Goodenough and I am a qualified Specialist Teacher and Diagnostic Assessor for children and young people with Specific Learning Difficulties, (SpLD’s). I hold a practicing certificate with PATOSS and am fully insured and DBS checked.

I actively encourage a collaborative approach to the assessment process involving parents, educators and most importantly the learner. Each assessment is carefully planned with the learner's interests and needs at the centre.
